For First Timers:

If you’re opening a Nusuk App for the first time, you will need to register yourself in Nusuk.

Open the Nusuk App

You will see the following options available for GCC Resident, Visitor and Iqama Holders. Select your appropriate option and register yourself by submitting your details.

Once you are registered and logging in for the first time. You will also need to the enter the below details

• Enter your Iqama Number/Border Number/Citizen Card number. You can also Login using Nafaz Application
• Enter ‘Password’
• Enter the Code which you have received on your registered Mobile number

If you want to add companions or family members , you can add your wife and children older than five years.

For registering family members and companions, you will need to have them added through the Tawakkalna app which requires Absher registration.

After setting up Tawakkalna accounts for family members, you can add them as companions by entering their Iqama Number and date of birth (DOB). Once they’re added, they will appear in the app, ready for the next step, which is booking the Umrah appointment.

Fine for Entering Without Permit

It is imortant and a must to be aware that attempting to enter Masjid al-Haram in Ihram without a valid Umrah permit from the Nusuk app is a serious violation that carries a hefty fine.

To carry out this directive, the police will be stationed at numerous entry points.

Security personnel for the Haj have issued a warning that violators will face harsh punishments, including up to six months in jail and a fine of 50,000 Saudi Riyals (Rs 10,93,054).

The ministry said that people who want to go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah or travel must have a valid visa.

Saudi Arabia said earlier this month that women no longer needed a male guardian, or mahram, to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia from anywhere in the world.

The ministry said that there is no limit on how many Umrah visas Muslims from all over the world can get.

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, said, “You can book an Umrah permit through the platform in a short amount of time, and then you can get the visa in 24 hours.”

The ban on entry into Makkah for expatriates who do not have permits was in effect on Thursday.
Brig. Gen. Sami Al-Shuwairekh, the spokesperson of Public Security, said that this was in line with the execution of the guidelines pertaining to the regulation of the Hajj pilgrimage this year.

“As as per these guidelines only expatriates who have the permit needed to enter Makkah are allowed to enter the holy city starting on Wednesday, Shawwal 25, which is May 26. They can get permits at the security control centers located at the entry points into Makkah,” he said.

Expats ban to Enter Makkah during Hajj

Residents and vehicles that don’t have the necessary documents will be rerouted the official said. He also noted that these documents comprise the entry permit required to work in the holy places issued by the authority in charge and a residency permissive (iqama) issued by Makkah, Umrah permit, and Hajj permit.

The ban, which is enforced annually at entry points into the holy city of Jerusalem, applies to all means of transportation such as buses, cars, and trucks. However those who are not subject to the ban have to get travel permits from the appropriate authorities.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that people who want to perform Umrah require an entry visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabi (KSA). The ministry announced that the permit could be automatically cancelled in two situations:

1. If the individual has contracted COVID-19 virus, or has been exposed to an affected person.

The Ministry announced the steps to book for Umrah outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via the Eatmarna app declaring that anyone who wants to perform Umrah must sign up to the app, after which they must choose the visitor button and input the primary information including passport number, email address, mobile number and nationality.

When you complete the registration it will determine whether they have an acceptable visa to be admitted to the Kingdom The recipient will be provided with the verification code via his registered email within the application.

After entering the code the user can select the permit that he would like to issue as well as the option to select the right date and time.

In the final stage one can look through all permits issued in addition to purchasing transportation services.

Capt. Abdul Rahman Al-Qathami said the sanctions will be imposed on companies like the Hajj and Umrah businesses since they are responsible to return pilgrims to their homes before their visas run out.

The Umrah pilgrim must also go to the concerned travel agency or company, show his passport and complete the appropriate form for the Umrah 2022 program.

Conditions to be Followed:

• Pilgrims must have a return ticket booked.
• Get Medical Insurance
• Send a certified report about the approval of the corona vaccine in your country.
• Get the date and time of the principle payment of Umrah, and for the visit to the Prophet’s Mosque.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj Umrah 2022 pilgrims are given a number that they can follow. They will also be able to apply online for Umrah visas through the e-Visa platform of the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

135,000 Umrah & Prayer Permits Daily for Prophet’s Mosque

The ministry announced in a statement issued on Monday that the total amount of permits granted for the performance of Umrah and prayers on Sundays has reached 101,429. The number of permits included 65,000 for prayer in addition to more than 36,000 permissions for Umrah.

According to the statement of the ministry the total number of permits granted each day for the Prophet’s Mosque was more than 15,000; this includes about 7700 permits for visiting the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be on his soul) as well as 8000 permits to pray in the mosque (at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif). Permits issued daily on average accounted for 9000.

Ministry officials explained total number of permits issued since the start of 1443 AH for the Grand Mosque approached 20 million permits. In addition, more than 2.5 million permits were issued to The Prophet’s Mosque.
