The Ministry of Interior will start searching for Expatriates with illegal residence permit, Over stayers, work and border security regulations.

Amnesty Campaign helped most of the illegal expatriates to correct their residential status or leave the country without paying huge penalty and through this Saudi Government wanted to make sure that all the Saudi nationals and xpatriates living in the kingdom must abide by the policies, rules & Regulations in Saudi Arabia.

Even for people who are supporting illegal expats by providing shleter and transporting them will also face huge penalties.

It concluded by calling for cooperation with security authorities, participation, reporting violators or those who support them by calling 999 and cooperating to achieve the objectives of the Nation without Violators campaign.

Amnesty period is extended for one more month for Bangadeshi & Filipino Expatriates who want to correct their residential status in KSA.

Saudi Government has extended the Amnesty Period for India as well as Pakistani Expatriates which s started from September 16 2017 and will end on October 15 2017.

Pakistani Embassy announced that the Amnesty Period to extend the amnesty period and give a chance to all the illegal Pakistani Expatriates living in the kingdom.

People who didn’t leave the kingdom in the Exit period or whose Iqama got expired can leave the kingdom now in Amnesty Period and avoid huge penalty.

Indian Embassy is appealing to all the Indian Nationals to avail Saudi Amnesty 2017. Embassy & Consulate have made elaborate arrangements for issue of Emergency certificate(EC) (Outpass) to those who do not have a Valid Passport.

Amnesty Period gave the freedom to Illegal Expatriates to pay fine by correcting their status and live happily in Saudi Arabia or leave Saudi Arabia.

As per the Latest News from The Director General of Passports (Jawazat) Major Gen. Solaiman Al-Yahya informed that Amnesty period will be extended further.

Amnesty Period was a step towards making Saudi ‘A Nation Free Violation’ by giving expatriates a 4 month long Amnesty Period.

Major Gen. Solaiman Al-Yahya informed all the expatriates that those who haven’t got benefit from the Amnesty period and and did not respect Saudi Laws will be punished.

Due to this campaign 6 lakhs (6,00,000) violators living in Saudi left to their home countries.

Checking have also started in Saudi for illegal expatriates to catch and punish.

Amnesty Period Extended by 30 Days

This will help expatriates to change their illegal status in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This step was to make Saudi ‘A Nation free of Violation’.

Expatriates who fails to correct their status within this period may face heavy fines anf might also face legal issues and even can be blocked to re-enter kingdom.

The 30-day extension is in line with directives of Minister of Interior Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif, according to Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Yahya, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Amnesty Period allows illegal expatriates to leave Saudi Arabia without penalty or correct their residence status in the kingdom.

Extension of Amnesty Period for 30 days is really a good time of all Expatriates those who have issues in Saudi to clear things and lead a happy life in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia don’t have any plans yet to extend the Amensty period. Amnesty Campaign started of on March 29th 2017 and will end in June 29th 2017. In this period of 90 days, Expatriates can Exit to their Home Country too if they have illegal status in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To Exit their home country an expatriate must have certain documents.

1) Passport or Emergency Cettificate from Embassy
2) Saudi Arabia Exit VISA
3) Air Ticket (To return to your Home Country)

Here are the list of Document Required to Exit Saudi Arabia in Amnesty Period:

Passport or Emergency Cettificate from Embassy:

Expatriate must have a valid passport to directly apply for Exit VISA without having Emergency Certificate (EC) or Out Pass. For those who doesn’t have valid passports need to apply for a Emergency Cetificate (EC) or Out Pass by reaching out to their Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

To get Emergency Certificate (EC) you will have to fill an EC Form along with Iqama copy, Visa Copy, Passport Copy and Passport Sized Photographs. It will take atleast 5 to 7 days to get Emergency Certificate from the Embassy and Once you get the EC your Existing Passport will get cancelled.

After recieving your Emergency Certificate (EC) to apply for Exit VISA.

Exit VISA:
Exit VISA need to be applied by booking an appointment on Ministry if Interior (MOI) website. once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll need to reach the designated Office atlweast 15 min befoire the appointment time and a take a print out of Exit VISA once everything is done.

Air Ticket:

Air Ticket must be booked by you to Return to your Home to Exit Saudi Arabia.

Expatriates who have violated Iqama Laws or Residency or staying in Saudi without a Valid Iqama or overstaying on your Visa can now approach to Ministry of Labor of Jawazat (MOL) during this 90 day Amnesty period and then they will be free to go back to their home country without any penalties or Fines.

These people can also Visit Saudi Arabia for work or visiting purpose with any new visa again. Its the best time for Illegal Expat workers who want to correct their status in this Amnesty period. People who left Saudi Arabia can also return to Saudi Arabia for correcting their status.

Amnesty Perios in Saudi Arabia starts from March 29th and will prolong till 90 days. Those who have such issues can reach out to their Passport Department.
