As confirmed by Jawazat people who cancel their exit and re-entry Visas, the Fee they have paid will not be reimbursed.

Jawazat stated that it is also not possible to modify the visas for exit or re-entry for the beneficiary. It is only possible to cancel by the employer’s Absher platform.

The fees for exit and re-entry visas cannot be reimbursed even in case of their cancellation, regardless of whether you have issued the same visa. Jawazat has confirmed.

It is interesting to note that Jawazat earlier had declared that workers’ final-exit visas are not able to be cancelled in their period of probation.

The Jawazat has reiterated that it’s not permitted to convert visitor visas into residence permissions (iqama).

Residents are able to travel outside of the Kingdom with an approved visa as well as an acceptable travel document in addition to the necessity of complying with the entry requirements of the country they are traveling to.

Furthermore, Saudi Arabia has allowed residents to travel into the kingdom regardless of immunization status.

It is mandatory to carry insurance in order to enter the Kingdom on any type of visas for visiting to cover the cost of treatment in the event that someone is infected by coronavirus. This includes the need for a visa to visit Umrah and tourism, throughout the visit to Saudi Arabia, when the visa is extended or after exit, and multiple-entry.

An Exit Ren-Entry Visa means exiting Saudi Arabia and again Re Entering Saudi Arabia after a specific period of time (Holidays, Emergency Visit, etc)

Steps to Check Visa Validity Through Muqeem

You can open Muqeem portal  To check Visa validity through Official website. There is no login required to access this website. Once you open the above Muqeem portal link you will be able to check Exit Re-Entry Visit validity Online in KSA with Iqama details, Date of Birth & passport number.

• Visit the Link of Muqeem Portal (https://muqeem.sa/#/visa-validity/check)
• Select your preferred Language (English)
• Select “Iqama Number” and Enter your Iqama details(10 digit residence permit number on your Iqama)
• Then Select your “Date-of-Birth” to proceed further
• Click on the “Check” button to get the details of VISA
• Your Visa details will be available on the next page with information like Visa Type, Visa Duration, Issue Date of Visa, Return before Date & Status of Outside/ Inside the Kingdom (KSA)

As per the sources, Jawazat said that people who have left the Kingdom on Exit & Re-Entry visas and didn’t return to Saudi Arabia or failed to return before the expiry date of Visa will be barred or banned from entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a period of three years.

Exit Re-entry visas cannot be converted to Final Exit

Though, there will be exemptions for Expats in the case of dependents as well as people who have obtained a new visa from their previous employer.

The Jawazat has stated that the validity period of the Exit & Re-Entry visa is calculated from the date of exit from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The sources said domestic workers who have failed to return to the Saudi Arabia will be automatically removed from the Jawazat’s Absher system, 6 months after the expiry of the validity of their exit & Re-Entry visa.

They will be removed from the system 30 days after the expiry of the visa if their failure to return is communicated through the “Tawasul” messaging and requests service on the Absher platform for electronic services.

The notification sent to Jawazat about a domestic worker’s absence from work can be canceled within 15 days from the date of the notification through the “Tawasul” service on Absher, the sources added.

– You need to Cancel the Exit Re-Entry Visa and Apply for a New Exit Re-Entry Visa, Because if Exit Re-Entry Visa is not cancelled you may be fined up to 3000 SAR for every dependent. For Dependents Not Living in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

NOTE: Please don’t cancel the Exit Re-Entry VISA of Dependents, as it would be difficult to get back them to the Kingdom (KSA). So, please keep in mind that you’ve to be very careful and re-activate them before leaving Saudi Arabia.

Good News for everyone Living in Saudi Arabia is that now that Expatriates and their dependents with expired re-entry visas and seeking to return to the Kingdom can now renew them from their home countries itself.

The ministry stated that it can allow for the renewal of a household worker’s re-entry visa under “exceptional circumstances.”

Exit Re-Entry Visa Procedure in Saudi Arabia

Prerequisites for Exit ReEntry Visa

• The applicant must pay the visa fee.
• All traffic challan for Traffic violations for the individual, worker or employer to be issued.
• The individual to whom the visa is to be issued must be present in Saudi Arabia (KSA) when the visa is issued.
• The validity of the passport should be minimum 60 days or more.
• Validity of Iqama of the individual to whom the visa is to be issued.
• The fingerprint of the individual to whom the visa is to be issued (for males and females between 15 years and older).

Online processing Requirements through Abhser:

• Login to Absher.
• Select visa services from the list of e-services.
• Select the individual for whom you would like to issue the an exit and re-entry visa.
• Fill in the required information.
• Click on Issue exit & Re entry Visa.

The Above procedure for obtaining Exit ReEntry Visa in Saudi can be throughe Absher.sa portal or Through Absher Mobile App.

This will have all the information about your dependents listed on your Iqama and their currenct status. You can click on “Issue Visa” button next to dependent for whom you want the Visa for. Accept the Agreement that you need to travel within 3 months after the visa is issued, else have to pay fine (Terms & Conditions).

Payment for Exit Reentry Visa is SR 200 for 2 months and SR 100 for each additional month.

Payment for Exit Re-entry Visa of 7 months is SR 700.
