The Employer will have a 10 day time period to enquire about their employee who has requested for exit and reentry visa application.

If the employer is unable to respond to the request within 0 days of time, the employee or the requester will be able to issue a single visa for a period of 30 days within five days since the expiry of this deadline.

However, the employee will be unable to issue either an exit and reentry visa upon the expiry of the work contract with the employer or issue a multiple exit and reentry visa. It is also not allowed for the employer to revoke the exit and reentry visa issued by the expatriate worker.

According to the new rules, the employer will have a 10 day period to inquire about the employee’s request for issuing a final exit visa, and in the absence of any response from the employer, the expatriate worker can issue a final exit visa, and the visa’s validity will be 15 days from date of issue.

If an Expatriate worker permanently leaves the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) during the validity period of the contract, he will be banned from returning to the Kingdom permanently.

This is in the event that he obtains an exit and reentry visa and does not return to the Kingdom before the expiry of the visa to complete the remaining period of the work contract.

If an expatriate leaves the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on an exit and reentry visa and is unable to return to the Kingdom before the expiry of the visa, in such case the right to extend the visa rests fully with the employer.

Must Leave kingdom after Final Exit Visa

Once an expatriate gets Final Exit Visa, he must leave the kingdom (Saudi Arabia) within 60 days.

If the expat wants to leave Saudi Arabia after 60 days he will have a pay a fine or penalty of SR 1000.

This SR 1000 is taken to nullify the Visa provided earlier and to issue a new Final Ext Visa if your Iqama has validity.

What if an Expat does not Return to Saudi using Exit / Re-Entry Visa?

Any Expat who leaves the kingdom for a holiday and wants to come back to Saudi Arabia needs to get a Exit / Re-Entry Visa. If an expat fails to report back to Saudi within the no of days of expiry of Exit / Re-Entry Visa, Expat will be banned from returning to Saudi Arabia for 3 years.

Once his 3 years are completed, he can return to the same Kafeel or Sponsor

The Colonel Engineer Ali Al Zahrani said that this law will be implied from 1st  of November 2019 , to all the vehicle whose number plates are of Gulf countries including Kuwait.

Those who have failed to pay their traffic fines and have any pending challans against their Iqama will be stopped at the border of the kingdom.

This rule will be implemented starting Nov 1 2019.

These standards will be monitored on all the outskirt ports and Air terminal .  Any person who did not clear even a single criminal offence fine will not be allowed to get the Final Exit Visa until and unless they clear up their due.

In the guidance of the Ministry of Interior , as per the given instructions, traffic violators whose fines are still not cleared up will be stopped at the Al Rigae, Khafji and Batha land ports commencing from the 1st of November.

This law is being implied so as to reduce the traffic violation cases. Also the “Visa and Iqama “ will not be issued to the to the expatriates if their sponsors also have not cleared their fines.

A final exit visa stamp will be not be put up  on the passport of the expatriate until and unless he has cleared all his traffic violation fines .

Though the Amnesty Campaigns has been ended Saudi Jawazat will allow expatrites to remain in the kingdom even if their Iqama has expired. they can stay in the kingdom only for 60 days after the Iqama Epiry and the date of Issuance of the Final Exit VISA.
