– First & foremost is that an Expatriate Employee working must Resign from his Job and must be serving the notice period which is mentioned in the contract as per the Saudi Lab or Laws. In the notic period make sure you have delegated all yours tasks and created a proper back-up.

– End of Service Benefits will be given to Expat after the processing of Final Exit VISA. End of Service benefits will bew given in Cash as you will not have access to Bank account once your Final Exit VISA is process.

– Gather & Check all your belonging in Saudi Arabia and send it to your Native/ Home country. If you don’t want to take any belonging to your Native place and wanna sell it in Saudi Arabia itself. – Make Sure that you don’t have any due payments in Saudi Arabia

– Discuss with your Landlord that you’ve cleared your apartment or place where you were living on rent and close all the documentations with him.

– Withdraw all the Money before your Bank accounts are closed from all Saudi Arabia Bank Accounts and either take Cash alogn with you or else take help of any of your friend to transfer Cash from their Bank accounts to your Countries Bank account

Final Exit Visa can be issued by the employer only after completion of few important conditions. One important condition is to pay all his due payments and bills of any kind in Saudi Arabia. An expat who wants a Final Exit Visa must clear all his Bills without any outstanding payments on his name.

Important Condition for Payments for Final Exit Visa

This directive was given by the Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) while clarifying the issuance on Final Exit Visa

All the pending bills are to be paid including mobile bills, there shouldn’t be any car on his name. all traffic challans must be paid in order to get Final Exit Visa in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

– Validity of the Final Exit Visa will be 60 days and the expat must leave the kingdom within these 60 days.

– Expats living outside Saudi Arabia cannot apply for a Final Exit Visa

– Final Exit Visa can be applied for Free of cost and it be cancelled via Absher or Muqeem Platforms which will incur a cost of 100 Riyals for cancellation.

– Employers cannot challenge or lodge a complaint against workers who are leaving on Final Exit Visa for escape or put them on Huroob.

Also, Exit Rentry visas & Final exit visas will be activated in 10 days, once the request is submitted.

The Employer will have a 10 day time period to enquire about their employee who has requested for exit and reentry visa application.

Exit Re-Entry Visas & Final Exit Visas in 10 days

If the employer is unable to respond to the request within 0 days of time, the employee or the requester will be able to issue a single visa for a period of 30 days within five days since the expiry of this deadline.

However, the employee will be unable to issue either an exit and reentry visa upon the expiry of the work contract with the employer or issue a multiple exit and reentry visa. It is also not allowed for the employer to revoke the exit and reentry visa issued by the expatriate worker.

According to the new rules, the employer will have a 10 day period to inquire about the employee’s request for issuing a final exit visa, and in the absence of any response from the employer, the expatriate worker can issue a final exit visa, and the visa’s validity will be 15 days from date of issue.

If an Expatriate worker permanently leaves the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) during the validity period of the contract, he will be banned from returning to the Kingdom permanently.

This is in the event that he obtains an exit and reentry visa and does not return to the Kingdom before the expiry of the visa to complete the remaining period of the work contract.

If an expatriate leaves the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on an exit and reentry visa and is unable to return to the Kingdom before the expiry of the visa, in such case the right to extend the visa rests fully with the employer.

But due to the implementation of Dependent Fees starting 2017, we have many expatriates sending their families back to their home countries and also leaving the kingdom to avoid paying dependent fees using Final Exit Visa.

Also, Saudi 2030 Vision will be creating many new opportunities in the kingdom, but will also put some stringent laws of employment which under kingdom regulations.

Any Expat leaving Saudi must get a Final Exit Visa and Jawazat has issued a complete list of Rules & Regulations (conditions) along with FInes & penalties on Visa purposes on Final Exit Visa.

Must Leave kingdom after Final Exit Visa

Once an expatriate gets Final Exit Visa, he must leave the kingdom (Saudi Arabia) within 60 days.

If the expat wants to leave Saudi Arabia after 60 days he will have a pay a fine or penalty of SR 1000.

This SR 1000 is taken to nullify the Visa provided earlier and to issue a new Final Ext Visa if your Iqama has validity.

What if an Expat does not Return to Saudi using Exit / Re-Entry Visa?

Any Expat who leaves the kingdom for a holiday and wants to come back to Saudi Arabia needs to get a Exit / Re-Entry Visa. If an expat fails to report back to Saudi within the no of days of expiry of Exit / Re-Entry Visa, Expat will be banned from returning to Saudi Arabia for 3 years.

Once his 3 years are completed, he can return to the same Kafeel or Sponsor

Absher handling Un-returned Saudi Expats

If a Expatriates fails to return Saudi using Exit / Re-Entry Visa within 60 days of the validity of Visa. Then his Kafeel or Sponsor can raise a Huroob or Register a complaint against the expatriate using Absher (electronically) without visiting Saudi Jawazat office.

Can Exit / Re-Entry Visa be changed?

Once the Exit / Re-Entry Visa is issued it cannot be changed, only after paying SR 1000 as fine a new Visa will be issued

The Colonel Engineer Ali Al Zahrani said that this law will be implied from 1^st  of November 2019 , to all the vehicle whose number plates are of Gulf countries including Kuwait.

Those who have failed to pay their traffic fines and have any pending challans against their Iqama will be stopped at the border of the kingdom.

This rule will be implemented starting Nov 1 2019.

No Final Exit Visa If Traffic Fines are Pending in KSA

These standards will be monitored on all the outskirt ports and Air terminal .  Any person who did not clear even a single criminal offence fine will not be allowed to get the Final Exit Visa until and unless they clear up their due.

In the guidance of the Ministry of Interior , as per the given instructions, traffic violators whose fines are still not cleared up will be stopped at the Al Rigae, Khafji and Batha land ports commencing from the 1^st of November.

This law is being implied so as to reduce the traffic violation cases. Also the “Visa and Iqama “ will not be issued to the to the expatriates if their sponsors also have not cleared their fines.

A final exit visa stamp will be not be put up  on the passport of the expatriate until and unless he has cleared all his traffic violation fines .

60% of the Expatriates were given Final Exit VISA through Absher Online & 40% of them were done through Muqeem Online.

As per Jawazat 23M electronic operations through Absher & Muqeem. Absher is an online portal which enables of number of e-services to users and Muqeem is an online portal which provides no. of e-services of the employees to employers.

Though the Amnesty Campaigns has been ended Saudi Jawazat will allow expatrites to remain in the kingdom even if their Iqama has expired. they can stay in the kingdom only for 60 days after the Iqama Epiry and the date of Issuance of the Final Exit VISA.

So, If your Iqama has alrady expired and you got your Final Exit VISA today, you can stay upto 60 day in the kingdom not mor than that.

This information was clarified on Twitter Official account of GDP where in an expat asked a question “An expat asked the question: “I have a final exit visa and my Iqama has expired. Is there a problem with this?” The GDP replied “There is no problem, provided the departure is within 6o days of the date of the issuing of the visa. Thank you.” and the answer given by GDP was “There is no problem, provided the departure is within 6o days of the date of the issuing of the visa. Thank you.”

Final Exit is a process of leaving Saudi Arabia by abiding all the rules and regulations. Expatriates who leav Saudi Arabia by Final Exit VISA will be able to come back to KSA with any new VISA.

However, there is an unapproved recommendation from Coucil of Saudi Chambers for the expatriates who have left Saudi vai Final Exit VISA for a ban of 2 years.

Before going back to your home country on Final Exit VISA, you must clear all the penalties you have on your name and also clear all the documents along with Police Clearance Certificate.

Here are the Steps to Cancel your Final Exits VISA in Saudi:

• You’ll have to fill the application form for Final Exit Cancellation. You will get the form near Jawazat Office. You’ll need to fill the form in Arabic.
• After filling the Final Exit Cancellation form, it must be attested by the Employer
• Letter from your Employer to Jawazat for Cancellation of your Final Exit VISA attested by Chamber Of Commerce in Saudi Arabia.
• Check your Iqama for Expiry and renew it before Cancelling your Final Exit VISA
• 2 Passport Sized Photgraphs
• Photocopies of your Iqama, Passport and Final Exit VISA
• Any Employer or Company respresentative must be present along with you while cancelling Final Exit VISA.

1. Open the Official website of Ministry of Interior (MOI) www.moi.gov.sa or Visit here
2. Once the page is opened, Enter information in all the mandatory fields such as Iqama Number, Sponsor ID, Captcha Code shown on the Image and Visa number ot Passport number
3. Press the View button to see the status of your Final Exit Visa. You will see that status as ‘Issued’ if your Final Exit Visa is issued else will show ‘Still in Process’ if its still processing.

Check your Final Exit Visa on Official website of Ministry of Labor (MOL):

1. Open the Official website of Ministry of Interior (MOI) www.mol.gov.sa or Visit here
2. Enter the Iqama number and the Captcha code as shown in the below screenshot
3. Once you’re done submitting all the details submit it and you’ll see the Final Page with details of Final Exit Visa Status Online.

If you see ‘Khurooj Nihae’ in Arabic then it means that your Final Exit Visa is issued

If you see ‘Ala Rasal Amal’ in Arabic then it means that you’re still on Job or Visa is still processing.

You cannot work for any work for European countries until your get a Police Clearance certificate to get Final Exit Visa. If you’ve decided for Final Exit and wanna leave KSA, then it better to take Police Clearance Certificate

Here are the steps to get Police Clearance Certificate in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

– Get in Contact with your Embassy to apply for an endorsement letter. Where you will get the standard format for applying for it.

– Submit Iqama Copy along with the filled form and fee for applying endorsement letter

– After getting the Endorsement letter from the Embassy, submit to Letter to MOFA (Ministry Of Office) for letter attestation. Take and Fill a form to MOFA along with a fee of 100 SAR along with the Endorsement letter, Iqama copy and Passport copy.

– After getting the attestation from MOFA, get your Fingerprints enrolled in MOI (Ministry of Interior)

– Then go to the nearest Police Station along with all the attested documents, photos, Iqama and Passport copies along with your company representative.

– Once submitted you’ll get an expected date for getting Police Clearance Certificate from the Police station.
