Whenever a Sponsor or Kafeel in Saudi Arabia sets an Expatriate in Huroob Status that means he is absconding or in a runaway status from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Huroob status will be listed under your Iqama which means that you’ve run away from your Kafeel or Sponsor without intimating him.

1) To check your Huroob status on your Iqama, You’ll have to login to official website of Ministry of Labor (mol.gov.sa) and Enter your Valid Iqama number in the second Text Box provided

2) Then Enter the Captcha code provided in the image in the 4th Text box

3) After Entering all the details, submit it. If you dont have any Huroob status and is good then you will be seeing the message as shown below with these details:

Once an expat is in Huroob Status, the police will start searching for you and once caught will be detained or sent to the detention center.

Jawazat has also informed that any employer will be unable to cancel Huroob status through Absher Online, the only way to cancel Huroob status of labour is approaching in person to Expats Jawazat building within a span of 15 days.

Jawazat also gave a warning to all expatriates and Employers not to accommodate or transport any illegal expats in the kingdom and those who will violates this will be penalized.

Small establishments will be fined SR 100,000 and will also prevent those companies to recruit for five year, if any illegal employment found.

MOL have warned the employers against false huroob statements which are issues against their expat workers and stated that it will stop its services for 5 years to employers who play with the future of expatriate workers by manipulating huroob reports against them.

Earlier, many employers have played with the system and marked false Huroob reports for expatriates, where the expatriates have suffered a lot due to and they have to pay the employers more amount for cancellation of Huroob and the employers will make more money.
