This dealine of 6-months time was given to extend the Expat levy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignnone  wp-image-1933\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 624 331'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/6-Months-Time-to-Pay-Expat-Levy-for-Companies-SaudiExpatriate.com_.jpg\" alt=\"6 Months Time to Pay Expat Levy for Companies SaudiExpatriate.com\" width=\"624\" height=\"331\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This Expat Levy can be paid in 3 installments and as of now the Expat levy is only for Iqama which wer issued or renewed in the year 2018 and not on iqama issued or renewed in 2017.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>As per the stats from Ministry the companies have to pay Expat levy as below:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Companies in which more than 50% of Saudi Nationals works, will pay SR 300 per month in 2018<\/li>\n<li>Companies in which more than 50% of Expatriates works, pay a expat levy of SR 400 per month in 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-1934 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 515 311'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/6-Months-Time-to-Pay-Expat-Levy-work-Permit-Fee-SaudiExpatriate.com_.jpg\" alt=\"6 Months Time to Pay Expat Levy (work Permit Fee)-SaudiExpatriate.com\" width=\"515\" height=\"311\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the year 2019 all these fees will be increased to SR 500 &amp; SR 600 respectively and will increase every year by SR100 till 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ministry of Labor &amp; Social Development in Saudi Arabia has given an extension of 6-months of time for companies to pay the Expt Levey (Work Permit Fee).
