There have been many changes to Saudi Labor Law in the year 2019. We set out below a summary of some of the key areas that have undergone amendments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 1 1'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/New-Changes-Saudi-Labor-Laws-in-2019-SaudiExpatriate.com_.jpg\" alt=\"New Changes Saudi Labor Laws in 2019\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-2555\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Do Not Hold Iqama\/Passport\/Health Cards<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Employers in Saudi Arabia will not be allowed to keep employees (Expatriates) Iqama, Health Cards, Passports as reported by Saudi Local media<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u> Extension of Fine Payment for Companies<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For any Company violations, companies will have to correct their violations within 10 days of time period instead of 30 days and all the fines must be paid within a time period of 60 days instead of 15 days.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If any company is fails to pay the fine to fix the issue in time, The Ministry of Labor &amp; Social Development can also suspend its services <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><u><span><b>No End of Service Benefits<\/b><\/span><\/u><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the new changes in <strong>Saudi Labor Law 2019<\/strong> an employee can be fired without even receiving his <strong>End of Service Benefits (ESB)<\/strong> in the following conditions:<br><br><strong>Read More:<a href=\"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/end-service-benefits-kingdom-saudi-arabia-ksa\/\"><em> Know Your End of Service Benefits in Saudi<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Any worker who is absent to work for more than 15 days long leave at a stretch or who will take a total of 30 days of absense in a year<\/li><li>Any worker who physically attacks his colleague at work place or even exchanges harsh words with his superior or manager verbally or over electronic media (E-mail, Telephone or Physically)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For the above two conditions are imposed on any employee he will not recieve his <strong>End of Service benefits in Saudi Arabia<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ministry of Labor &amp; Social Development have enforced new changes in Saudi Labor Laws 2019.
