{"id":4511,"date":"2023-03-10T20:54:02","date_gmt":"2023-03-10T20:54:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/?p=4511"},"modified":"2023-03-10T20:54:06","modified_gmt":"2023-03-10T20:54:06","slug":"working-hours-for-public-sector-during-ramadan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/working-hours-for-public-sector-during-ramadan\/","title":{"rendered":"Working Hours For Public Sector During Ramadan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHR&amp;SD) in <strong>Saudi Arabia<\/strong> has clarified the working hours during the blessed month of Ramadan 1444 for the public sector will be 5 hours per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Sector Working Hours During Ramadan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>n the public sector in Saudi Arabia, working hours during Ramadan are reduced by two hours per day. This applies to all government offices, including schools, hospitals, and other institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry also said that the working hours for employees covered by the executive regulations for human resources in the civil service start from <strong>10 am to 3 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-working-hours-for-public-sector-during-ramadan\">Working Hours For Public Sector During Ramadan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 1 1'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/5-Hours-per-Day-Working-in-Ramadan-2021-KSA-SaudiExpatriate.com_.jpg\" alt=\"5 Hours per Day Working in Ramadan 2023 (KSA)\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-4512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The attendance of employees at workplaces will\u00a0 be divided into three groups, separated by an hour so that the working hours are as follows: the first group (first shift) from 9:30 \u2013 14:30 hours, the second (second shift) from 10:30 \u2013 15:30, and the third (third shift) from 11:30 \u2013 16:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Private Sector Working Hours During Ramadan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Working hours for the private sector will be 6 hours per day. Moreover, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has introduced flexible working hours for Saudi employees during Ramadan, as detailed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9:30 am to 2:30 pm<br>10:30 am to 3:30 pm<br>11:30 am to 4:30 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to reduced working hours, many organizations in Saudi Arabia provide a more flexible work schedule during Ramadan. This may include allowing employees to take longer breaks during the day to pray, or adjusting their work schedules to allow for more time with their families during the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Article 98 of <b>Saudi<\/b>&nbsp;Labor Law, the&nbsp;<b>Ramadan working hours in Saudi Arabia<\/b>&nbsp;are the following; 6&nbsp;<b>Hours<\/b>&nbsp;a day or 36&nbsp;<b>hours<\/b>&nbsp;a week for Muslim employees. 8&nbsp;<b>Hours<\/b>&nbsp;a day or 48&nbsp;<b>hours<\/b>&nbsp;a week for Non-Muslim employees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Human Resources
