As per the sources from the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Saudi Arabia stated that all Saudi residents are required to take their booster doses of coronavirus vaccine before traveling outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting in February. 9. (Rajab 8.).<\/span><\/p>\n

As per the Ministry of Interior, all arrivals to the Kingdom as citizens or visitors must show a negative PCR test result within in the 48 hours preceding departing, regardless of vaccination status.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry stated that the restrictions have been imposed as a result of a continuous monitoring to the situation in terms of epidemiology both locally and globally, and in line with the steps that are being implemented by the Kingdom to stop the spreading of Covid 19 and ensure the public health.\"New<\/span><\/p>\n

New COVID Travel Restrictions in KSA<\/h1>\n

\nThe report stated that those who want to travel outside of the Kingdom must receive an additional dose to ensure they’ve completed the required three months following the second dose.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children younger than 16 years of age<\/strong> or in groups that are excluded according to the Tawakkalna app are exempt from the obligation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone who travels to the Kingdom regardless of vaccination status, must provide an approved negative test for PCR or a negative antigen test within 48 hours of the date they leave or day of their entry to the Kingdom the ministry stated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children under 8 years<\/strong> old are not eligible due to the laws in their country of origin regarding Covid prevention of infection.<\/span><\/p>\n

The results of a test reveal they have contracted the coronavirus are able to travel to the Kingdom without the requirement of an PCR test, provided that 7 days has passed after the time they tested positive and they have been given the doses of vaccine accepted in the Kingdom.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Travel Restrictions in Saudi Arabia starting 9th Feb<\/span><\/h2>\n

\nSaudi travellers who have not had all the doses approved by the vaccine can come to enter only after 10 days after testing positive for Covid-19.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry stated that the new restrictions would take effect on Wednesday, February. 9 at around 1:00 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry’s source stated that everyone needs to adhere to the strictest precautionary measures and approved health guidelines, while at the while speeding the process of completing of all vaccines approved for use.<\/span>\u00a0Children younger than 16 years of age or in groups that are excluded according to the Tawakkalna app are exempt from the obligation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone who travels to the Kingdom regardless of vaccination status, must submit a test for PCR or a negative antigen test within 48 hours of the date they leave or date of entry into the Kingdom according to the ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saudi citizens who wish to travel outside of the country will be able to travel only if they’ve received the third or booster dose<\/strong> of coronavirus vaccination.<\/span><\/p>\n

People whose tests indicate that they are infected by the coronavirus can be admitted to the Kingdom without having to undergo an PCR test if 7 days has passed after they were tested positive and they have received the doses accepted in the Kingdom.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry announced that the new restrictions will go into effect on the Wednesday of February. 9 at 11:30 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The government, which operates 587 vaccination centers throughout the country, has asked those who haven’t yet had their vaccinations to sign up for them on its Sehhaty application.<\/span><\/p>\n
