Every employees must know the Leave Policy details to avail when needed.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-632 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 559 372'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/saudiexpatriate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Leave-Policy-for-Employees-working-in-Saudi-Arabia-SaudiExpatriate.com_.jpg\" alt=\"Leave Policy for Employees working in Saudi Arabia-SaudiExpatriate.com\" width=\"559\" height=\"372\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Holidays and Official Leaves:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 4 days of leave for Eid-Ul-Fitr starting 29th of Ramadan (Ramzan) acorrding to Umm Al-Qura calendar.<br \/>\n&#8211; 4 days of leave for Eid al-Adha starting the day of Arafat<br \/>\n&#8211; Leave on National day of the Kingdom according to Umm Al-Qura calendar, If this falls on any weekend, then<br \/>\nemployee compensates by the preceded day or the next.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Personal Leaves:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Every Employee is eligible for Paid leaves such as mention below and will no provide supporting documents:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Five days in the case of a death of a spouse;<br \/>\n&#8211; Five days upon getting married;<br \/>\n&#8211; Three days when receiving a child.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Maternity leaves:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Females who are pregnant and wanna take leave for Pregnancy can avail 10 weeks of Pregnancy leave:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Leave for Exams:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Upon approval of your Employer can take paid leaves for examniation for attending a Unviersity Exam on exam days.<br \/>\n&#8211; If the Employee has joined the institute without the approval of the Employer, then the elaves will be deducted<br \/>\nfrom his annual leaves or will be considered a unpaid leaves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Employee needs to apply 15 days prior for such elaves<br \/>\n&#8211; Employee needs to provide supporting documents, as per Employers request.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Sick Leave:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Employee can take Sick leave in Saudi Arabia if his sickness is proven and can take a leave for first 30 days and<br \/>\n75% of the wage for next 60 days and no pay for the next 30 days in a year.<\/p>\n<p>Full Pay &#8211; first 30 days of sick leave<br \/>\n75% of Pay &#8211; Next 60 days (in addition of the above leaves)<br \/>\nNo Pay &#8211; for next 30 days (in addition of the above leaves)<\/p>\n<p>So, a total of 4 months of sick leaves can be availed in a year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Employer cannot terminate employee due to sickness untill all his sick leaves gets exhausted + annual leaves too.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Empployee has to submit a doctor certificate in case of all the above.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Death of a Family member:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In case of daeath of a family member with blood relation employeess are entitles for 5 days paid leave.<br \/>\nFor Female employees its 4 months and 10 days (Iddah Days) on deaht of her husband.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Hajj Leave:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Employee is allowed for 10 days of paid leave for Hajj only once in 5 years with the same employer. He can avail<br \/>\nthis only after 2 years of service in a company.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Marraige Leave:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 days of Paid leave for marraige<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Domentic Workers:<\/strong> <\/span>Domestic Workers such as Household workers &amp; Drivers whose Visas are sponsored by individual<br \/>\nSaudis are entitles for 1 month paid leave in 2 years and 1 day week off every week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>People working in Saudi Arabia are entitled for below Leaves as per Saudi Labor Law.
